Friday Morning Collaborative

With support from The SCAN Foundation, The National Council on Aging leads a coalition of national aging and disability organizations working to advance long-term services and supports for older adults and individuals with disabilities.

Known as the Friday Morning Collaborative, the coalition formed during health reform and was one of the first coordinated advocacy efforts among the aging and disability communities on long-term services and supports.

Thanks to the collaborative’s efforts, the Affordable Care Act includes the Community Living Assistance Services and Supports (CLASS) program and Medicaid reforms that will enhance the lives of millions of seniors and individuals with disabilities.  READ MORE
